what a night in the cl, i mean i only marginally cut it in terms of profits playing the draw in the monaco game and chelsea +1 at 1.9something, but what a night it's been, real get a good beating, and arsenal, my favourite chocker, and oh my what a loser team they are, despite being the team i most enjoy watching, and roman, the crook, abramovich goes to the next round (the guy who at the tender age of 27 got ussr petrols and aluminum manufacturers handed to him)

I love this sport, they say in the nba, well i hate bball but soccer never seizes to impress and surprise me.

The unpredictability of the sport is both what I hate about it when it comes to gambling but love to follow as a fan. You'd never get in the NBA Chicago Bulls (they wouldnt even dream of getting there anyhow) beating Sacramento in the semi-finals but these results are common in this crazy sport.

The biggest shocker before this one must have been France losing to Senegal 1-0 in the World Cup.

As for Chelsea, I don't like them...even though I live near Chelsea, everything from their kit to the fact they have no Brazilians. I also don't like the philosophy of 'buying championships'.

And the Russian guy, did you see how he wasn't even smiling when Chelsea scored...Russians are so cold, then contrast that with Ranieri, the Italian.

Chelsea played some second half, that was a great goal by Bridge. Arsenal can't step up when they have to .

Did either of you see the FA cup game on Saturday? I woke up at 6am to watch it here in Nj and it was one of the greatest games in any sport that I have ever watched. The 1st 20 minutes were unbelievable.

I remember making a post about liking the champions league because unlike many domestic leagues there were actually half a dozen teams who could win it.

I am honest enough to admit that I did not include any of the semi-finalists in my list of potential winners. This years tournament is proving to be as unpredictable as the World Cup.

Teams that have looked unbeatable in their domestic leagues are now gone and I wouldn't be able to pick the winner from here.

On tonights game that must be one of the greatest comebacks ever in Europe.

I'm surprised nobody drew parallel with the last World Cup yet. Not for so small number of people that was the worst mundial ever (in terms of quality)...
